Patricia E. Carreras serves as the general director of Blue Moon Strategies LLC. Ms. Carreras has more than 25 years of international experience leading and advising majors and independent energy companies on field development planning leveraging reservoir engineering and reservoir simulation. Additionally, she is a public speaker, mentor, and coach on topics of leadership, diversity and inclusion, and cross-cultural effectiveness. Ms. Carreras has worked based in the USA, Mexico and Argentina, and has visited for business Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman.
As general director of BMS, Ms. Carreras takes accountability for the services that are provided and leads the company’s strategic development and financial performance.

My story
I was born in Argentina. I worked for Petrolera Argentina San Jorge starting in 1992. Chevron acquired the company in 1999. I was later transferred by Chevron to Houston. I estimated the reserves of some of the most prolific reservoirs of the world. I also advised for the consulting company Quantum Reservoir Impact and for Oxy.
